Each OMGA family is required to work a minimum of 10 volunteer hours per player during the season. There is a buyout option that is offered at the time of registration. If you have more than one player you are only required to work hours for 2 registered players.
Our team will be provided with volunteer opportunities during the year. Please check out our website and check e-mails for this information once the hours have been assigned to our team. The hours will be available to TIGER families first and if we cannot fill the hours with our team families then the hours will be opened to other OMGHA families.
A NO-SHOW FEE of $100 will be applied to ANY VOLUNTEER who does not show up to a scheduled work time. The volunteer scheduled to work is responsible to find another voluteer to cover the hours to avoid being assessed the "no-show" fee.
I should be receiving periodic updates from the volunteer coordinator with the hours that each family on our team had worked. I will send these out once recieved so that each family can verfiy the hours that are listed and report any discrepancy. Please make sure that you also track any hours that your family has worked and we can work together to make sure each family gets the required hours.
Additional Opportunites are posted at the Osseo Arena on the bullitin board located in the lobby. Feel free to check that for hours that are available.
