Park came back and tied it back up at 11:12 of the 1st period, on a power play. That was the Crimson first power play goal of the year that they have given up. Then less then 2 minutes later Mpls. Park took the lead 2-1 with a goal at 9:14. The Crimson fought back and tied it up at 6:32 with a power play goal by Reid Mordhorst, with an assist to Zach Gardner. In the 3rd period – both teams stayed out of the penalty box until late in the period. When the Crimson got on the power play they took advantage and scored a power play goal at the 3:49 mark of the period by Spencer Draayer and took a 4-3 lead. Getting his third assist of the game, a “Play Maker”, was Zach Gardner. Great job Zach way to keep working hard out there. Both teams got physical in the last minutes with a number of Crimson and Park players headed to the penalty box. But goalie Travis Hemingway kept the puck out of the net even when Park had a 6 on 3 power play for almost a minute at the end of the game. Travis and the team skated off with a big victory. The team also kept their penalty minutes down and finally got a Fair Play Point, good job guys.
