USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION

All families will register first with USA Hockey this year. In the past, the OMGHA Registrar has registered all players with USA Hockey, and these fees had been built into your registration payment.
This year, OMGHA will be directing all registrants to USA Hockey's registration page to first complete the USA/MN Hockey registration portion, then back to the OMGHA site for completion once you have your USA Hockey confirmation number. This number is necessary to complete your OMGHA registration. The $40 you pay to USA Hockey has been deducted from the registration costs you will pay with OMGHA, and our costs have not changed from last year.
For USA Hockey online registration:

1. Go to the USA Hockey Website.
2. Choose member type Ice Player/Coach.
3. You must be 18 years of age to process a registration. Check the box that acknowledges that YOU are 18 or older.
4. Select the correct season – 2009-10.
5. Follow the prompts...fill in all data correctly.
6. Process payment – Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express (credit or debit card). A Visa gift card will also work.
7. You may print your Confirmation page at this time. It will also be emailed to you immediately after the registration is completed.

Each participant will pay the USA and MN Hockey fees of $40 if age 7 or older. The USA Hockey fee is waived for age 6 (birth year 2003) and younger. The registration must still be completed to get the confirmation number.
Once you have registered all players with USA Hockey and have your confirmation number and barcode, please return to the OMGHA site to log in and register.

2009-2010 SEASON REGISTRATION INFORMATION

THIS SEASON: ALL NEW AND RETURNING PLAYER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE DONE ON-LINE. NO MAIL IN REGISTRATIONS PERMITTED!!!

Players must be at least four years old by June 30th, 2009 to register with OMGHA.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payments accepted on-line are Visa, MasterCard, Discover or PayPal (accepts E-Check). Those paying with vouchers should contact the appropriate registrar (see below).

BIRTH CERTIFICATES

For new players, a photocopy of the player’s state- or county-issued birth certificate is required to complete their registration. Hospital or souvenir documents are not accepted.

CANDY BAR FUNDRAISER/BUYOUT OPTION

All players are required to participate in the candy bar fundraiser OR select the buyout option. Fees are due with registration and candy will be delivered when teams are formed.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

OMGHA now has limited funds available for financial assistance toward registration fees for qualified applicants. Applications are available online or by contacting the OMGHA Registrar (see info below). All requests are kept confidential.
