At the October 11th meeting, the OMGHA Board finalized the new logo which will be used beginning this season by all OMGHA teams for their apparel and will be phased in as we replace worn out OMGHA jerseys.
The Board selected the “arc” logo which tied for first in a recent survey of OMGHA membership.
At the October meeting the Board also selected both Dave’s Sporting Goods and All-Star Sports as vendors for the upcoming season. They will be responsible for providing all team apparel for the upcoming season. The Board has negotiated preferential pricing and other “membership” benefits from these relationships. Team managers will be provided information in the coming days for ordering team apparel and fittings will be scheduled for each team. The Board is very excited about these developments and feels they will be a tremendous benefit to the association.
Teams will not be allowed to use other vendors for team apparel and the new logo will only be provided to our preferred vendors. The Board also maintained the policy adopted last year for teams who violate this new process, they will include a two week suspension of all coaches and the loss of all waived volunteer hours for the team manager and coaching staffs.
