The Osseo-Maple Grove Hockey Association (OMGHA) has established a Financial Assistance Program to assist parents and families in meeting their financial commitments for participation in OMGHA’s youth hockey programs. The program provides financial assistance and grants to those who may find themselves in a situation which would otherwise prevent their children from participating in OMGHA programs.
Families receiving financial assistance may be asked to provide additional volunteer hours to OMGHA, or participate in one of OMGHA’s Personal Fund-Raising programs. These hours may be through established volunteer opportunities or other forms of volunteer activities mutually agreed upon by the recipient and OMGHA.
In order to be considered for financial assistance, an application form must be completed and returned to the OMGHA Treasurer. All applications and information will be held in complete confidence. You may be asked to provide additional information or documentation at any time during the review process, or at a later date.
All applications for the season must be received by mid September. Each application will be reviewed by the OMGHA Financial Assistance Committee, comprised of the OMGHA Treasurer, OMGHA Registrar and OMGHA Financial Assistance Program Coordinator, with a decision being made prior to the start of tryouts.
