The 2009-2010 OMGHA hockey season is knocking on our doors once again and the Supermite teams are all lined up. Curtis Janicke & Erik Kukkonen will be coaching your son’s team this year (along with the help of some great assistant coaches and all of you parents, of course ?) and Virginia Kafer will be managing the team (with a little help from me, Amy, Curtis’ wife). The coaches would like to get everyone together this coming Thurs for an hour or so to discuss the upcoming season. This will give everyone a chance to meet the other team members/parents, get an understanding of Curtis and Erik’s coaching philosophy and goals for the year, ask questions, and more. Virginia will be attending the manager’s meeting on Wed (the day before the meeting), so we should be able to answer most of your questions at the meeting. There will be forms to fill out, checks to write, etc… so please bring your checkbooks. Hopefully the weather will be decent and the kids can play a little hockey out back or something (please have them dress appropriately).
